Yin Yoga is a slower-paced style of Yoga, which focuses on stretching the deeper connective tissues of the body. In other traditional styles of Yoga asanas, we generally engage the muscles and stretch them. In the Yin practice, we relax the muscles. Yin Yoga encourages us to ease into the postures and surrender to gravity, enabling us to hold the postures for longer periods of time.
We would love for you to join our sessions every Saturday, and experience the calming effect of Yin Yoga. Please ensure a gap of at least 3 hours between your last heavy meal and this practice.
Props required (optional, but will be helpful for beginners):
1. Yoga blocks / a folded blanket
2. A bolster / a pillow
